Project Watch: What is being built in Milwaukee, Waukesha counties - Interactive Map
There is no doubt there is a major construction boom going on right now in the Milwaukee area. Almost anywhere you drive in Milwaukee or Waukesha counties you are bound to see a new building going up, a plant being expanded or apartments under construction. If there was ever a time for an interactive map of Milwaukee-area development to keep track of all of the projects proposed or underway, it's right now.
Click on any of the points on our map and up will pop a description of the project, the developers behind it and when it is likely to be completed. Many of the projects include renderings or photos of the site.
We're starting first with Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. Just within those lines, our map shows nearly 100 projects and counting. That's a big tally, and I know there are more out there. We are looking for projects proposed or renovated that have a development cost of more than $2 million. Tell me what we’re missing at [email protected]. We will look at adding more counties in our region in 2016. And be sure to bookmark this page as we’ll continuously update the map as more projects are revealed and as plans change.
